Hello! Welcome to Dennis East Elementary, and to my third grade web page! My name is Angie Konkle. I am very excited to work with your child this year.
This is my fourth year teaching. I taught first grade for the past three years and am truly enjoying third grade! I graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 2005 with a degree in Elementary Education. I'm currently working on my Masters through Ohio Dominican University and will be finished this spring. This is a new career for me.Prior to teaching, I worked in the corporate field for 14 years. My husband, Chad, and I were married in Gatlinburg, TN in 2004. He is a school principal for Hamilton City Schools. We reside in greater Cincinnati (Montgomery) with our two girls, Morgan (3.5), Payton (2) and our son, Parker, who was born on June 7th.
I believe that when parents and teachers collaborate, students thrive. I will regularly send home communication and hope to get communication from you as well. Being involved in your child's education will open many doors for your child to have strong future.
